According to Horatio, quoted in Hamlet so it must be true, Yorick is "a fellow of infinite jest and “most excellent fancy.” We would like to add that he’s also a true gent, extremely handsome, and among his excellent fancies are dogs, cats, children, and adults. Also: Potty trained, which Horatio felt went without saying. The deep gentility and sweetness of this Pittie pushover is impossible to exaggerate. We love him and you will love him, which is fortunate because that’s just what he needs.
Here are some notes from his foster:
Meet Yorick, the most polite pitbull this side of Shakespeare! Much like the famous Yorick in Hamlet, he’s a gentle soul who would love to be remembered for his kindness (though, unlike his namesake, he’s very much alive and well!). Yorick is a sweet, loving boy who’s great with small dogs, children, and even cats-he’s a regular renaissance pup! Though he might be a bit shy at first, with a patient adopter, Yorick will slowly reveal his playful side, complete with zoomies and wagging tails. He’s also a low-key explorer, strolling around the house at his own leisurely pace, but don’t be surprised if he shows a little pep when treats are involved. Politeness is his forte, as he prefers his cozy dog bed to the couch or human bed. Plus, he’s potty trained and a smooth passenger in the car! Adopt Yorick, and you’ll have a loyal companion with a heart as big as the stage.
