Here’s some notes from her foster:
EEEEKKKK RUN don’t walk to Muttville to this adorable little lady. What can I say, I am already in love. When we first met on the couch at Muttville Wren was a little timid and scared. Once we got into the car, I put her in the bed that I brought where she got comfy and decided to go for a little snooze.
Wren is as sweet as ever. During the day she loves to nap and if there is a sun spot she will find it and nap in the sun. It is the cutest thing watching her pick her spot, sit and then lie down. Once she has recharged and we go on our walks she does like to stretch her legs by running for 10 feet or so. Sometimes she can even go longer and watching her ears flop up and down is the cutest thing in the world, She looks so happy when she runs to stretch her legs. I usually let her take as long as she wants for walks in the afternoon and evening. When we do walk on leash she tends to walk behind me. I think she likes to keep an eye on me. I have also not heard her make a sound except for one bark when I accidentally startled her which was my fault. She also does not like sudden movements or she will shy away.
At night she does like to snuggle and lay her head on me in bed. After a while she will curl up into a bed for the night. She sleeps through the night and has no issues though she is not a big morning dog. I usually have to carry her out of bed so I can get her walked and fed before I head off to work. She seems ok at home when i am at work. When I check on her through my pet cam she is usually on the couch in a nest she made or if I don’t see her I assume she went upstairs. She is also totally fine with my pet birds who I let out of their cages when i am home and will fly around sometimes. Wren is totally unfazed by them flying from the living room to the kitchen or next me and her when we are on the couch. Wren is able to go up and down the stairs no problem!!!
