What’s a five letter word for something floofy? You definitely won’t be able to guess because it’s got two G’s and two O’s. This trendy, New-York-Times-branded doggo actually gave fashion icon Anna Wintour the idea for her haircut. You could easily mistake the two, except for the sunglasses.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
- Wordle, Wordle, Wordle, we have had the great pleasure of having this little guy with us for a few days now and slowly
learning his little quirks. So far, we learned that Wordle is the perfect little gentleman, he gets along great with our active senior mutt and even keeps up on walks for a little while, but he is also equally happy to hang out in a sling when the little legs get tired. His favorite things so far are casually switching between different snoozing spots, cuddles, eating treats, and sniffing all the other dog butts.
He seems to be potty trained and does all his business outside, he sleeps quietly through the night (except for some barking in his sleep, which I promise you, is the cutest). Wordle loves to say hi to all the doggies on our walks, if he is not allowed to say hi he will let out a little bark just to let everyone know that he is there. Wordle like many other older gentlemen seems to have very selective hearing which means you have to speak up a bit to announce yourself in his presence or to catch his attention, but somehow he has a fifth sense that tells him when food is present.
We noticed that he is a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you (with a treat or two) you will be best friends in no time. He likes to cuddle and get scratches, but have very strict boundaries when and who are giving these cuddles and will move away or give out a little warning squeak (yes he squeaks) if he is not in the mood for it, but it seems like he is getting more and more cuddly for every day that passes. In other words, he is the perfect mix between a lap dog and an independent fella. We think because of Wordle’s sensitive nature and ever-changing moods about being scratched or petted he might do best in a home with adults or only older children as he does not seem to like being surprised by sudden movements or surprise scratches.
