Frozen some 10,000 years ago in the Northern tundra of Siberia. We owe it to global warming for bringing this brave, bold senior back to life. As the permafrost thawed so did the magnificent Woolley. In previous years he was a fierce and wild hunter of saber-tooth cats and giant ground sloths. He was so skilled at hunting that he was able to provide food for his entire family throughout the harsh climate changes. With that life behind him, he is trying to learn how to adapt to the modern world and all the comforts of modern living. He started by purchasing his first pair of Crocs to cushion his paws. Next he bought a Nespresso coffee maker. He really enjoys flavored lattes in the morning. He also discovered In-N-Out double double cheeseburgers which he absolutely cannot stop eating! Woolley doesn’t even miss his previous life one bit. He enjoys the modern, lazy, technological way of living and has made some wonderful friends. People are drawn to his brown shaggy fur and beautiful brown nose and eyes. He resembles a teddy bear so close that people stop him on the streets for pets and belly rubs!
Here’s what his foster has to say:
“Wooley is an absolute dream!! He is such a lover of all people and other dogs, and would be a great life long companion. He loves belly rubs, turkey treats, exploring our backyard, flirting with all the other pups at HQ and cuddling with our volunteers during the day. It took him about 24 hours to settle into our home, and now he’s an easy-going and mellow guy who sleeps through the night in bed with me, naps on his doggie bed during the days nearby, and lets himself out to potty when he needs to. Good boy Wooley!”
