Woodstock is a Pomeranian, but he resembles the type of dog that looks like a bear cub has wandered in off the streets. He hair has a golden yellow glow with a brown muzzle and ears, almost like he was snout-deep in a vat of hot chocolate. In fact, maybe that’s why his eyes are so hard to see – you have to really peer deep into this little man’s soul to find his eyes, although a haircut might make him a whole new doggo! Woodstock is a very silly and playful Pom, happily cavorting with the other canines, but he’s also easily corralled for some snuggles. If you were looking for a teddy bear to cuddle this winter, we think Woodstock is an even better alternative!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Woodstock is unbelievably cute! He is definitely very vision impaired. He has to stick his snout out to check for ledges, and he bumps into stuff constantly like a little Roomba.
Behaviorally he’s great, super cuddly, follows me around and likes to sit touching my legs so he knows where I am. He barks at dogs and people when on walks, but it’s not with agitation, it seems more like his response to detecting them and not being able to see them.
