Some people spend their whole lives in the pursuit of Wisdom, but we’re happy to report that you don’t have to – she’s here at Muttville! This mini mutt is extremely portable at under 5 pounds, so you can carry Wisdom wherever you go! Wisdom is a quiet gal who likes the finer things in life, like comfy couches, gentle pets, and tasty treats, so she’s looking for a forever home where she can find those in abundance. In return, she’s willing to exchange some of her sage doggy Wisdom – we’re not saying she knows the meaning of life, but…we’re also not saying she doesn’t. If you’d like a pint-sized pup who may know the secrets of the universe, Wisdom is the one for you!
Here’s some notes from her foster:
One gaze into Wisdom’s eyes and you’ll know the true meaning of the universe. I won’t spill the secret, though, you’ll have to meet her in person if you want to join the club! Aside from her ever knowing gaze, Wisdom is just about as precious as a dog can get. She is a dainty, tiny princess who appreciates all the luxuries a senior gal deserves. At any given time you’ll usually find her expertly burrowed in a pile of soft blankets.
All you have to do is call her name softly though and you’ll see her pointy little nose pop out followed by ears so big she could probably fly! She’ll wiggle her way out of the blankets and wag her tail when she knows it’s time to go out for a walk. While she can’t tackle a full flight of stairs, she still enjoys a nice walk and can do a few small steps at a time including getting safely on and off curbs.
Walks are great for enjoying the sun, sniffing all the good smells, and meeting new human friends! She also always prioritizes a quick potty since she is already potty trained. Wisdom doesn’t really care about other dogs or cats. She doesn’t mind them being there (as long as they don’t step on her or sit on her!) but she isn’t going to seek them out on a walk or at home.
At home, when she’s not napping she’s sniffing around and exploring for snacks…but she’s not sure which snacks she likes until she gives it a try. I’ve found her to be on the picky side, but we’re working to find her favorites. Luckily she doesn’t mind being home alone for a few hours a time since she’ll take the opportunity for a good long snooze.
On car rides, she gets a little unsettled so she does best when safely secured in a carrier or seatbelted in by her harness. Just to keep her safe! But she’s quiet and doesn’t get too stressed out. As soon as you park the car, she’s ready to explore where you’ve ended up!
Overall Wisdom is a lovely little girl that we’ve enjoyed getting to know. I think any family would be very lucky to welcome her into their home!
