Will and Grace go together like peanut butter and jelly and are just as delightfully scrumptious! These charmers are perpetually happy and oh so fun to be around, sure to brighten up your day, every day! Big boy Will is a wiggly bouncy joy and shorty cutie Grace loves a good snuggle. Big dog/little dog perfection!!

HERE’S WHAT THEIR FOSTER HAS TO SAY!

Will and Grace are two sweet peas in a pod! Grace gets attached to her people quickly and would love to spend the day napping by your side. She will also make sure nothing happens to you on the way to the fridge or the bathroom or a different couch. No matter how comfortable she is, she’d rather get up and be with you. She is sweet and fairly mellow.

Will is a dog lover’s dog. He is doofy and loving to the max! Nothing phases this guy, and while he is still working really hard to learn more commands (so far he has “sit”), he is super eager to please! Will tends to follow Grace like a loyal sidekick.

They are both good with our five year old, but Will is a little too dog-brained to spend time alone with our toddler. He means no harm (really, a pure love bug), but Will is large and playfully excitable and he’s just a lot of dog, for a tiny human.

Neither barks very often, and we’ve worked with them to keep calm the few times they have. When they do bark it is in tandem so we’re trying to nip that in the bud during their stay here. They also don’t accost you whenever you have food. Will is curious about what you bring into his field of vision. Neither will chase whoever is going to the kitchen, or come sprinting at the sound of crinkle bags.

Grace really wants to sleep on the bed and so Will now thinks he should want that too. We haven’t allowed them on furniture to make it easier for the next family should they want to keep that rule.

We think Will would benefit from a family that wants a more active dog, he isn’t top of the charts energetic, but he isn’t a grumpy old man yet! Grace is happy to tag along, but she doesn’t need adventure each day. Will does fine with all stairs, but Grace doesn’t like steep/large ones (probably due to being a short-legged corgi, being a little chonky right now, and being a little older).

Both are only moderately food motivated. Grace is a slow eater and Will tends to finish up for her. She won’t eat if they’re separated, so not much we can do there (she’s on a diet and this helps)! Will loves the kibble we give them.

Will has had a couple of accidents in the home early on, but both have otherwise been good about doing their business outside.

They both attached to us really quickly, and are just waiting for a forever family. There is some anxiety when one of us leaves, but we’re already seeing signs of that abating. I think they’re trusting, but worried when their favorite people are gone.

I’m so excited to think about how they’ll thrive when settled into a home that won’t change. For all the sad difficultly of the pandemic situation, it may offer your family the chance to give these puppers the love and stability they need to feel safe and at home!
