Well, you can’t have a pool party without some delicious Watermelon, and this beige beauty is the life of the party (if the party involves cuddling up to another mutt for a nap). Watermelon is the friendly sort, so she can often be found sharing space with another canine companion and might enjoy living with a doggy sibling. Of course, if you choose to make Watermelon the sole focus of your food pyramid, she’s okay with that, too. A tiny gal, you’ll be easily able to carry her with you (in fact, she probably weighs less than most other watermelons!) and she’s got airplane ears designed to never miss a beat. Watermelon was scared but stoic when we left Muttville. Even while trembling, she gave polite little kisses as we went home. She is fine being picked up and carried like a little chihuahua football. Also did fine in the car, in my lap. Looked out the window. Her ears are so expressive! Like an adorably sentient origami project; think Dobby the House Elf, or Yoda.
She is a burrower. Aggressively fluffed the fleecy blanket on her bed and curled up. After tucking her in, was almost immediately asleep. Cared not at all when I moved her to watch a movie with me. Stepped out for 15 mins, no changes. Moved her again when it was time to go to bed. Had to wake her up at 10 am!
This cutie is going to be someone’s adored little jewel, and beautiful when she’s had some consistent love and care.
