It’s been many years since Wallaby graced the covers of Canine Beat, Puppy Love, and Milk Teeth magazines, but he’s still as handsome and charismatic as ever. Even though an entire generation tried to simulate his shiny chocolate shag, Wallaby has always been centered and humble. He’s just a peppy, happy, social butterfly who loves nothing more than being friendly with everyone, celebrities and civilians alike.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Wallaby has FURSONALITY! He is a happy and playful buddy who settled into our home immediately. For being a senior, he really has puppy energy! He is a great walker and loves to patrol our garden for rodents (and for strawberries and tomatoes!) He loves ear scratches and will roll over in a heartbeat for anyone who he thinks might be giving out belly rubs. He likes to be with you, but can be independent too – he won’t follow you around from room to room, and he doesn’t beg at the table. (He DOES know how to open the pantry door, though, so keep those snackies on a higher shelf!) He LOVES to play with balls and chew toys, and will ask you to play with him every day. He’s fantastic with our young kids, and plays super well with our dog.
