Velvet is an absolute gem! She is 7 years young with the playful spirit of a puppy and so much personality. She is an active girl who loves a few brisk walks each day or heading to a field where she can run around and stretch her legs. She absolutely loves playing with her toys and is always happy to entertain herself with them at home.
At home, Velvet is a wonderful companion. She is fully potty trained and pad trained and does great when left home alone for a few hours at a time, happily relaxing until you return. As she has gotten comfortable with us, she has become increasingly affectionate, following us around the house and enjoying lots of pets and attention.
On walks, Velvet enjoys saying hello to other dogs and is happy to see them out and about. While she enjoys her canine friends outside the home, Velvet would be happiest as the only dog in the home.
Velvet likes to get to know new people at her own pace and appreciates some space while she is getting comfortable. Give her the time to come to you, and you will quickly see her sweet, playful, and loving personality shine through.
Velvet really is a special lady. She has so much personality, so much love to give, and plenty of adventures still ahead of her. Whoever gets to call her their own is getting an absolute gem.
