The glasses! the suspenders! the snort…this nerdy little charmer is as loveable as his TV counterpart, but not quite as annoying. He is a quiet charmer who loves snuggling up in your lap. His ears are so perfect and you are sure to get all the sweet smiles on your daily walks. This boy is ready to start a new lifetime of love with you after coming to us as a stray from Oakland.

Urkel is sweet, quiet & easygoing. His energy is fairly low. Urkel is great with other dogs! He is a bit uncertain with other animals but interested. He can start out a bit shy, but warms up. It may take a day or two for him to get in the swing of things, but he seems to mostly understand the concept :). Urkel is incredibly loving, trusting & sweet. He’s easygoing & looks to people to show him his next activity. Once he’s comfortable with you, he often looks up innocently & wags his tiny tail, quietly eager for some attention. He doesn’t bark much except when people come to the door & even then it’s minimal. He likes walks (& loves marking his territory outside). When he gets going, he lifts up one of his back legs & scurries along like a little tripod! Urkel is a good eater & loves getting cozy with you at night, curling up in a little ball & sleeping soundly (he sometimes has a cute little snore). During the day, he likes to cuddle & lay on his back for belly pets. Watch out when he shakes his head near you – he might accidentally whip you his big, adorably floppy ears! ;).
