Uncle Junior, how are you so perfect? Wiggly waggy bottom, sweet face, and those adorably unique ears: he’s irresistible! This happy and oh so friendly guy is huggable and easy to love. Give him some booty skritches and belly rubs and he’ll be in heaven.
HERE’S WHAT HIS FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
Uncle Junior (aka pup pup, aka, jojoe) is absolutely the sweetest soul! He loves lots of pats, belly rubs, back scritches and snuggles. He is very mellow and so far has been very happy to meet anybody and everybody that comes by, human or pawed, big pups and small pups. He was a little scared by the hissing fur balls (cats) when they first met, but now he mostly ignores them and every now and then tries to say hi (much to their dismay).
He really loves to be around people and prefers to be where he can see someone, but if he can’t he’s also content to find a warm fuzzy spot to lay down and rest. Aside from a very brief whine when we first left in the car from Muttville, he hasn’t made a peep.
Uncle Junior most definitely has a puppy mentality and loves to smell all the smells on his walks, loves to explore, and enjoys a little mellow toss of a tennis ball. Every so often on a walk he’ll even break into a surprise jog! Though he has puppy brain, he also definitely has senior body and his hind legs will sometimes betray him (especially when he wants to chase a ball). He can manage some stairs, but it would be best for him to be in a home without them.
He has been really good about only doing his business outdoors, so no issues there, even when he first arrived! The only time he has shown any nervousness is when we passed someone who yelled at their own pup (who was barking at the mailman). The yelling seemed to scare him, so a calm space without a lot of noise is probably also best for him. He also did not like the sound of the crosswalk signal, but bikes, cars, and other traffic noises seem to be fine. He really is a total heart melter!
