You had me at tooth. That’s what you’ll say when you meet Uggie, our teensy-tiny, extra-adorable min-pin! Boy is he sweet. And that one snaggle-tooth just puts him over the top. He’s a little pocket pal who will snuggle up in your lap while you sip a cappuccino. Or who knows, maybe he’ll ride in your backpack on your cross-country motorcycle trip. Whatever it is, he’s ready for it. Uggie is a total love bug who is great with people and other doggies. So make 5 pounds of room in your heart!

Uggie’s cataracts don’t impact his need for snuggles and exploration! He is pretty good at familiarizing himself in a new environment, and amazingly doesn’t bump into things. He walks and walks around the perimeter of a new room so knows where to go. He is kind of like a Roomba! He prefers short, leisurely outdoor walks (maybe 1 block or so ) on flat surfaces… changes in elevation like a curb might make him stumble, however a straight and level path is a breeze.
Sometimes his legs are kind of wobbly, but I promise you, he isn’t sneaking whiskey shots. He is just a sensitive older pup. Since he is so lightweight, carrying him up and down stairs isn’t a problem, he cannot maneuver them on his own. No jumping on furniture for him, he will nuzzle your leg to be picked up so he can snuggle next to you on the couch! Or burrow under the covers!
Uggie will remind you when it is dinner time… it is like clockwork…5:15ish pm and he walks to the kitchen and barks! He has a big appetite for a little guy! I have 2 dogs of my own, and they get along.
