Once an esteemed graphic designer specializing in typography he has since retired partially because of losing his sight. The only type he sets these days is braille. Typo looks just like a fennec fox when he stretches his ears out to listen to your voice. He may not have the best eyesight, but he will absolutely be able to find you in the middle of a crowded room! Typo is so perfect that we don’t even really know why we named him typo. He is smart, he is patient, and he is friendly with all the dogs, even the spicy ones! If you are a lover of small, tan and cuddly Chihuahuas, Typo is the one for you!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
I’ve been fostering Typo for a little over a week now, and he has been the easiest houseguest. He initially mapped out the layout of my home, as he’s blind, and he quickly made himself comfortable on the dog bed and blankets I put on the floor for him. He has excellent hearing; he seems to know where I am in the room and will turn his head adorably in the direction of my voice.
Typo is definitely aware of my cat and he’s not bothered at all by her going to him for curious sniffs now and then. He doesn’t really react to her, and they’ve had nap time together on my bed.
He has a good appetite. He’s potty trained to go outside – I take him out 3x/day. I have pee pads for him inside but he’s never used them; he seems to prefer to wait until being taken outdoors.
He is very eager in seeking physical affection. He’ll extend his paws to touch me when I’m next to him, and he’ll look for my lap or reach up to be cuddled if he knows I’m standing by him. He’s a true cuddlebug.
