Meet Twilight and Samara, the perfect pair who are twice the love and double the care! Samara is a gentle lady who gets along with dogs just fine, always ready to be friendly and kind. Twilight is a little shy at the start, but give her some time, and she’ll show you her heart. Once she warms up, she’ll be your loving shadow, ready for snuggles both today and tomorrow. These two are the perfect match for quiet moments and soft, cozy naps. They’re loyal, sweet, and always near, bringing joy and love all through the year. Twilight and Samara are looking for a forever home where they can blossom together and never feel alone. Adopt Twilight and Samara, and let these two sweet souls fill your life with double the snuggles and endless love!
Here’s some notes from their foster:
Samara and Twilight have to be the sweetest, gentlest girls I’ve ever met! They are definitely bonded, but they are fine with a little space from each other. Samara is the more active of the two. Twilight wants to be active, but her legs slow her down a bit.
These girls have champion appetites. Samara, a sensitive girl, needs to make sure that I am right next to her if not petting her while she eats. She responds to affection more than she responds to food.
Twilights’ back legs and hips make it hard for her to walk on hard surfaces, as well as going up and down stairs. She can walk, but she slips if she gets going too fast. She never seems to complain though ! She would need to be in a family or with someone can carry her up and down the stairs. She’s OK with just a few, but a full staircase is too much for her.
These two sweet souls would do best in a peaceful environment. They’re great with humans and with meeting other dogs. They love their walks, but Twilight can’t go quite as far as Samara.
Their favorite thing to do is to find a warm spot in the sun to curl up and nap… and who could blame them? They are extremely gentle with one another… Samara looks out for Twilight in her own sweet way.I know a lot of people think that having two dogs is a lot more work, but these two girls are on the exact same schedule. When one eats, the other one eats. One of them poops, the other one poops! They make it pretty easy!
These two girls are very special and I hope they find a family who can appreciate their need for affection, security and a little peace and quiet in their golden years.
