Tuxie Lou is the sweetest thing-very gentle, kind & playful. If you have ever known a herding dog, you’ll recognize her personality. She’s always there for you—but not clingy. She’s happy to take your kisses & hugs—but also happy just being by your side. She loves to play fetch at the dog run—any old tennis ball will do. She doesn’t mind if other dogs steal her ball, she’s just out there for a good time. She is very well-adjusted, house trained, not fearful & excellent on a leash. Tuxie Lou loves walks & has a cute little “prance” when she walks. Bottom line: she likes a fair amount of activity for a girl her age, but would be OK with three good walks per day. She has been ok with other dogs at the dog run. Does the usual sniffs, lets other dogs steal her tennis ball. At the moment, she needs some help getting up the stairs. She is fine walking down stairs though. No accidents in the house. We have a doggie door & she has learned to go to the bathroom outside. She loves napping on her dog bed (who doesn’t?) or on the deck outside.
