Truckee is a little angel who might be shy at first, but warms up quickly when you show him some love. We just want to give this cute little man the world for his retirement life, and we know you do too!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
I’ve been fostering Truckee for about a week now and he is just the most wonderfully sweet little guy! He is a bit shy at first but warms up very quickly. He has already bonded to me and loves following me around the house.
He is happy to sleep in his own dog bed as long as he has a cozy blanket he can burrow under. He gets along wonderfully with my 3 senior chihuahua girls. He gets a bit too excited around boy dogs but he is sweet and calm around girls. I think he would love to live with a girl dog and he would actually do best with a doggie sibling.
He is potty trained and will let me know when he needs to go outside. He is quite active for his age. He loves to play outside and run around the back yard and chase squirrels. He is good on long walks. He also loves to play with toys and play fetch. Truckee would do best in an active home where he can get lots of exercise.
He is such a sweet and gentle little boy. He loves to get pets and give kisses. It’s hard to believe he’s even a senior dog because he has the best energy. He can’t wait to find his forever home!
