Trixie is now accepting applications for the role of BFF. As a little fluff angel who is in need of hospice care, Trixie’s ideal candidate will know how to make her feel spoiled. A successful applicant will have a proven ability to give scritches all over, from noggin to tail. They have an informed point of view about what treats to give and when (hint: good ones, and often). Competitive compensation is offered in the form of tail wags and unconditional love. Trixie also accepts bribes.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Trixie loves food. She will travel into the kitchen from anywhere in the house if she thinks there might be food. She happily wags her tail at me when I come home. I take her out to pee about every four to six hours. If she stands up in the middle of the night it’s an indication that she needs to pee and I take her outside.
If we’re on the sidewalk she will walk a ways- because she loves to explore! I’ve never let her go far so I don’t know how far she would go. She loves to wear sweaters and you have to put it on ever so gently.
She spends most of her time in her dog bed, often with her eyes open watching the goings on. She is a very observant and sweet girl.
