Meet Trina, a shy little gal with a tender heart and a gentle spirit. She may take a little time to come out of her shell, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a sweet and loving companion. With her soft eyes and quiet charm, Trina will quietly steal your heart. She gets along well with other gentle pups and would thrive in a patient, loving home that understands her sensitive nature. Adopt Trina and give her the safe, soft place she’s been dreaming of — because even the quietest hearts have the most love to give.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Sweet, independent, and teeny tiny—Trina is a wonderful pint sized companion who is happy to spend some time on her own but is equally happy to be near her people or carried around. She is pee-pad trained and is very good about going potty on her pads. Trina took some time to decompress and get comfortable once we brought her home, but she has made a huge transformation in a short amount of time. Initially wary about being touched, it didn’t take long for her to remember what feeling safe and loved is like. After a few days I was able to give her a much needed bath and I think this was the major turning point where she started to feel comfortable again. She now cuddles up next to me on the couch, enjoys pets, and she lets me pick her up and carry her around.
Little Trina is growing sweeter every day and I think it’s going to be so rewarding for whoever her lucky adopter will be to watch her find love and happiness again.
