Here’s some notes from his foster:
Toucan – lovingly nicknamed 2 chainz – is a dream! Found as a stray, while in foster, he is all healed up and has come out of his shell. He’s a kind, weird, cuddly little sir.
This scruffy charmer is so very bright, attentive, and well-behaved. He knows how to sit, how to get out of the kitchen when we’re cooking (get out!) and he even knows the doggie sign language to ask for more pets on his belly! He’ll ask and ask and ask for all the belly rubs and snuggles.
He’s a slow walker but he loves a big grassy field where he can chase/sniff other dogs. He LOVES fetch with his bright, soft ball.
He took a few days to potty train but with some patience he’s good as gold – he’ll do anything for a treat! He’s fine on stairs and has a great appetite. The only time we’ve ever seen him fussy is when we move him when he’s sleeping or when it’s time to change Jammie’s. But he’s super communicative and has the cutest little happy purr.
Its hard to put into words what a special, goofy little boy he is. But we hope he can find a kind, loving home to live out his golden years. Given he’s so chill, he’d do very well with a senior.
