Life is full of ups and downs, and Totter is here to stabilize you! This boy is a puddle of cuddles, with his soft silky coat and his calm demeanor. Totter is here to lend you a paw. He’s a mellow fellow who would be the perfect addition to almost any home!

Totter is a total lap dog. He will use all of his limited energy to climb over any obstacles and into your lap. He has been known to walk over the backs of other dogs to make it into a human lap. He does well with his foster sister (young, medium sized dog) and tries to snuggle her when human laps are not available. He would prefer to sleep in contact with a human or dog at all times. He is very comfortable with a variety of human touch (from men and women) and shows no reactive behaviors. He would do well in a household with lots of human and/or canine snuggles.
Totter is very quiet. He hardly makes a peep, though this might be because he is mostly deaf. He is comfortable riding in the back seat of a car and being left alone at home for a few hours at a time. He loves food and takes his medications easily when hidden in cheese or other treats. This sweet boy is looking for a household to spoil him and help him put on some much needed weight.
Totter has clearly been house trained. He pees immediately everytime he goes outside and then looks up and wags his whole body. He has some difficulty walking and doesn’t seem to want to walk more than a few feet, but he certainly enjoys sniffing the grass, flowers, and trees. If you want a total cuddle bug, Totter is the dog for you!
