Tofu is such a pretty lady!
Tofu is a truly beautiful mutt with giant ears, soft amber eyes and has a big dog personality but is a great little size. Tofu is super smart and eager to please. She really enjoys the company of other dogs and also loves to chill with people. She seems to know the basics and has a sweet playful attitude. Tofu would make a perfect first dog for a family, and any family would be happy to have her.
Tofu is estimated to be 10 years young and weighs 19 lbs.
HERE’S WHAT HER FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
At our house we call her Custard because she’s so sweet & a perfect lady.
She’s affectionate but not needy. She likes pets and belly rubs, and she snuggles next to me when I’m reading or watching tv She sleeps through the night and is in no hurry to get up in the morning.
We go on long walks, and she can easily walk for an hour, alternating a brisk pace with intense sniffing of bushes and plants. I take her for one long walk and a few shorter ones for “business.” She is house-trained and quickly learned that she could use our back yard when needed. She is in good shape and can get onto furniture and in the car by herself. She’s calm in the car.
She’s usually quite composed, but when she’s excited by the prospect of a meal or a treat, she gets frisky, running back and forth and bowing.
She’s fine with our cranky old dog and doesn’t react to dogs she meets on walks. Due to Covid restrictions, we haven’t been in dog parks or had close interactions with other dogs.
I’ve grown really fond of her — she’s elegant yet spirited and obviously smart. I know she’s paying close attention to me and the ways of our household. And she has all the good habits and no bad habits. She’s beautiful too — her fur is silky and her belly is like velvet.
