This happy little boy is Tobias and he can’t wait to meet you! Tobias was found as a stray in San Francisco and is ready to turn over a new leaf with a loving family. He does great with other dogs, loves everyone he meets, and is generally very sweet and loving. This cute Shih Tzu is just about perfect!
Tobias is 12 years young and weighs 9 pounds.

Tobias is such a chill, upbeat and happy dog. Best foster companion yet! We love him! We have two chihuahuas with strong personalities and Tobias lets nothing phase him. Tons of tail wags and kisses from Tobias. He will certainly be a keeper. He’s house-trained and listens well. We’d adopt him if we could! He’s got the spunk of a 4 year old, but the maturity of an older dog. He loves going for walks and is great on a leash. He’s a big-time snuggler and loves to be anywhere you are. Tobias has the cutest under-bite, occasionally we get a good chuckle when the tip of his tongue peeks out from his mouth while resting.
Tobias is playful, sweet & curious. He spends most of the day sleeping on my lap or in a bed. But when I get up he’s instantly awake & ready to run around! He is so friendly & precious. He is active & curious when he’s outside & very friendly & peppy when he’s around people. He is great with other dogs & follows my dog around the apartment so it looks like they’re a little pack. He’s really good at making himself comfortable in someone’s lap and will rest his head on my arm or desk and doze away with his little tongue hanging out. And when he first gets on my lap, he’ll put his paws up on my desk or my chest so he’s pretty much just standing and giving me a hug. SO ADORABLE!
