When the other fawns teased Timothy for having no spots, he decided to run away from the forest in search of acceptance. He has certainly found it here at Muttville, where we think he is the most flawless, beautiful baby deer that ever existed! Timothy is so sweet and friendly, with long busy legs and a tail that just won’t quit. And not be shallow, but he is SO handsome! What a perfect little pup.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Tiny Timothy is just the sweetest bundle of love. He loves chasing after his toys, but is also very happy to nest under a blanket on the couch with you.
He absolutely adores people and wants to be wherever you are. He wags his little tail at and wants to follow every person he sees. I suspect he used to live in a house because although he marks eeeeverything while we’re outside (that’s unneutered boys for you…), he’s had exactly zero accidents in the house! He’s completely fine being handled, and even let me give him a bath!
If he didn’t have the beginnings of a frosted face, I wouldn’t believe he was a senior. He walks so well on leash – when we’re out on walks, he speeds along way faster than you’d think his tiny legs could go! He has no problems jumping up onto my big bed, and is a bit of a mountain goat climbing onto the back of the couch to see out the window. We haven’t interacted with other dogs, but he seems interested in them on walks. We’ll see once he’s up to it! For now, its lots of naps.
