Meet Teva, the startup CCO (Chief Cuteness Officer) who recently gave a TED talk on the mental health benefits of slow walkies. Teva says it’s important to exercise your snoot at least twice a day by sniffing flowers, pee-pee, or street treats that your human will try and wrestle out of your mouth. So strap your Tevas on over your socks, and get ready to go for a smallish adventure with this wonderful little guy.
Here are some notes from his foster:
- Exceptional walker
- Voracious eater
- Can hang out alone (but gives the best bounces and hand lickies when you get home!)
- Polite and easy
- Sleeps through the night in his own spot or maybe on the bed but only if invited
- Total pacifist Ignores or backs away from any dog rudeness
- Probably scared of cats, if anything. No chasing here!
Teva is a terrific houseguest. He eats nicely, he potties outside, he’s friendly with all the other mutts, he loves walkies when outside but is mellow and low-key inside… He’s a gem! Teva is a bit shy and can be a little skittish at first, but it’s been so rewarding to watch him get more comfy. He clearly wants to make friends and it’s fun to watch him get more and more affectionate and social. He may take new relationships a little slower than some, but he’s soooo worth some patience.
