Welcome to Muttville, Tennis! This gorgeous little chiweenie girl has been bopping around Muttville with a pleasant and bouncy attitude with as much excitement as a tennis match. This sweet girl has floppy ears that curl forward over her cute little face as if they are excitedly waiting with bated breath for her to tell them secrets. And she probably doesn’t miss many secrets, as Tennis’s ears are bigger than you’d expect for such a little gal. Tennis’s ears are far from her only selling point, she’s also a social butterfly who is happy to be the life of the party. She’s been wonderful with the other mutts at Muttville and is always down for a good snuggle. Although Muttville is full of adorable senior mutts who will keep you looking back and forth as if you’re at a tennis match, we’re sure that Tennis is such a lovable darling that she’ll be sure to catch your eye.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Tennis is a DARLING! She is a super social gal who gets along with dogs and humans alike.
We took her out to lunch and she immediately charmed the table next to us. So much so that she spent the entire meal on their laps, happily cuddling with them until they reluctantly returned her when their meal was over. She then proceeded to make friends with other dogs (both big and small) and people as she walked around the neighborhood, saying hello to everyone who walked by.
At home, she is very relaxed and loves cuddling in our laps or sleeping on the couch.
She does like being active though. When her leash comes out, she gets very excited, and she easily kept up on a rather long walk with our 3-year-old pittie mix. I think she would be happiest in a home that would give her a good combo of at-home snuggle time with outdoor walks and mini adventures. She fit in easily with our other two dogs, and I could see her being happy as part of a pack or as a solo dog.
She was also impressively well-behaved in the car. She sat very calmly in the backseat, quietly and calmly looking out the window. Plus, she appears to be perfectly potty trained and hasn’t had a single accident. She also LOVES to eat and gets very excited for meal time.
Tennis will be a fantastic addition to someone’s family. She seems quite adaptable and will integrate very easily!
