Teddy Swims has been waiting over eight months for someone to finally choose him. Teddy is a 10-year-old, 22-pound spaniel mix who’s now healthy after surviving pneumonia and is ready for a fresh start.
Teddy is a sweet, gentle, easygoing little dog with incredibly soft fur and a beautiful red and brown coat. He loves short walks, cozy naps, and simply being near his person—and gets so excited to see you when you come home. He can be shy at first, but with patience and kindness, he forms a deep bond and becomes your quiet little shadow.
He’s house-trained, not a barker, and very easy to live with. Teddy would be happiest in a calm home with adults or older kids, as the only dog.
After everything he’s been through, Teddy isn’t asking for much—just a safe place, and someone to call his own. Could that be you?
This dog is with Underdog Animal Rescue (Lafayette), and he is fostered in Oakland.
This is a courtesy post. Teddy Swims is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Teddy Swims and want to learn more about him, please contact: Email: adopt@underdogca.com.
