Teak is a wee tsunami of Yorkie goodness who appears to come straight from a Looney Toons cartoon. His smile covers most of his face, his ears are mostly fringe. If he had a soundtrack, it would be a series of bings, bongs, boings, kisses, sniffs, and toenail tapping, punctuated by declarations of human delight. His stubby tail is a blur unless he’s sleeping, He’s playful, spry, active, does stairs, likes dogs, people, toys and treats. He’ll chase stuff but may not return it. He’s a master at crowd work, may do accents. If you’ve got TLC in your tank and a good sense of humor, he’s your guy.

Teak is the sweetest guy! So snuggly and affectionate from day one, I feel sure that he had a loving family at one point in his life. Teak has never met a stranger and loves all the people that he has met so far. He is a very friendly and social guy! He has a lot of energy for an older gentleman and loves playing with toys (he can fetch!) and going on walks. Nothing too long, but he really enjoys a stroll around the block and is always so excited to go outside. He is a lot of fun!
Teak is reliably potty trained (so far no accidents) and knows basic commands like sit. He is good on walks and doesn’t bark at other dogs or people, just pulls a bit on the leash when he is excited to get started but calms down quickly. He is a polite guy and does not bark when people come to the door or when the doorbell rings. He appears to be some kind of a yorkie mix, he doesn’t shed or trigger my husband’s allergies. Teak is settling in very well and is truly such a good boy, so loving and eager to please. We love having him in our home and he will make a wonderful pet for a very lucky adopter!
