Taters, Taters, Taters!!!!!

Oooooooh we love this old guy so much. He is old but he still gets around pretty well and will add a smile to your face with his cute little trot.

Being an older guy he’s got some achey bones so he’s not a huge fan of being picked up but he loves a good sniffari!

Taters is hospice due to advanced age, advanced arthritis, back pain, chronic eye disease.

Here’s a note from his foster:

Taters is a sweet and gentle guy. He loves pets, scratches and snuggles and enjoys soaking in attention.

Taters is a hospice dog due his age and back pain, but despite his hospice status, he still has plenty of pep in his step and will even break into a little jog when we go for walks! Because of his arthritis, he is unable to climb stairs and doesn’t love being picked up, although he will let me gently lift him into the bathtub (he’s a very good boy at bath time!) or into his stroller, which we use when we go for longer outings.

He is mostly house trained and we’re almost at 100% with regular potty breaks and some potty pad training.

Taters is a friendly gent who loves people and gets along great with other dogs. He would make a great addition to any family, but because of his sensitive back, would probably do best with older kids.
