Meet Tasty, the little corgi with a big heart! This independent lady is as sweet as they come, though she can be a bit shy at first. But give her a tasty treat , and she’ll be your best friend in no time! Tasty’s gorgeous fur makes her look like she just walked out of a fancy doggy salon, but don’t be fooled—she’s all about cozy naps and quiet snuggles. She may not be the life of the party, but she’s the perfect companion for someone who loves gentle walks and peaceful evenings.

If you’re looking for a loving, low-key best friend, Tasty might just be your perfect match!

Here are some notes from her foster:

Tasty is a sweet and shy girl, just looking for a spot to relax and someone to go on long walks with.

For your specific questions:

Potty habits: we think she is potty trained. There were no accidents when she was with us, but we did restrict her to an x-pen when we couldn’t keep an eye on her.

She pees two, three times a day max. Her schedule currently seems to be around 5am and late afternoon. She poos only once per day. If you go in a long walk she will not pee unless it is really time. We had a lot of long walks with no business being done.

Eating habits: she is a good eater! Night one she was a bit slow and shy in eating, but after thank she gulped down her food. She could potentially benefit from a slow feeder. We fed her and our pup at opposite ends of the kitchen island and there were no food agression issues. Both dogs were also able to take treats next to each other.

Walking habits: she is an excellent walker. When she is walking, that is what she is doing. No sniffing, no distractions, just waking. When she decides to do her business, she quickly pulls over, stops, and then wants to get going again – wondering why you are dawdling around with pickup. Our first walk with her was two miles, and she could have kept going. She seems happiest and most confident when out on a walk.

Other: 1)she is smart and has some reasoning skills. She figured out how to pull open the x-pen door (we didn’t latch it). She also really liked the x-pen when the door was open. Was her favorite place to sleep.

2)She should be latched in in a car…. She will do everything to get in front with you.

3) you can pick her up, but it isn’t her favorite thing. Best way is from behind picking her up from her middle. She does not liked to be picked up under front legs facing you – vet staff will confirm she go a bit spicy .

4) she doesn’t like her paws being touched (we found this out trying to wipe her paws with the rain).

5)she us good sleeper, and snores like a trucker!
