Think of your favorite aunties. Or your gram and her best friend from college. A couple of wise ladies, aging in unison as gentle soul mates and co-conspirators. Tangerine and Audrey, bonded and beautiful, fit the bill. Together they add up to all things chi: little round noggins, emo eyes, satin ears of geometric complexity. They dig a short walk and are fine with company – human or canine. Now in need of their next nest, they are ready to share their secrets for lasting friendship and graceful seniority with companions who don’t mind their inside jokes.

Here’s some notes from their foster:

Tangerine and Audrey are such a gentle and curious duo. They love to cuddle in bed together, walk really nicely as a team, and are often tip-tapping around together seeing what’s going on in their foster home. They have been super quiet and they both get really excited for walks and mealtime which seems like great signs they are comfy!

Tangerine, the smaller black and tan one, seems to be the more adventurous of the two. She is more likely to come over and ask for pets by putting her paw on a hand and pulling it towards her ears. She will also stand and watch what’s happening in the kitchen, hoping very much that her meal is being prepared.

Audrey is an older girl but is still able to keep up really well. She loves to rearrange the blanket in her bed and will cuddle up for pets if you sit nearby. She gives Tangerine tons of kisses and is a great sniffer on walks.

They are both able to get down a block and back on a walk and are able to handle a couple of steps (both up and down) no problem! They get really excited to head out on a walk and will use the bathroom outside.

They seem unfazed by other dogs on their walks and obviously are the very best of friends with each other.

They sleep through the night and are excited to be greeted with pets and a walk in the morning. They also don’t seem to mind being left alone with each other to keep them company, and the only noise we have heard out of them is when Tangerine feels we aren’t getting out the door fast enough on a walk.

This pair of sweet little ladies have been an absolute delight to get to know and they are so ready to fill up a new home with their love.
