Luck has struck again here at Muttville and we have the privilege to help this calm and sweet shih-tzu mix find her new home. Just like her namesake, Taffeta has a look that is distinctly eye-catching and fancy. She is looking to find a home where she can enjoy regular activity and dedication to her well-being, as well as a cozy spot on the couch or on your lap. Taffeta gets along well with other dogs and is ready to shine as the newest member of your family.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Taffeta has been my easiest dog to foster. She’s very sweet, potty trained and very low key.
Because she’s vision-impaired she’ll often cruise around the apartment until she settles down.
Because Taffeta is overweight I am watching her diet.
I don’t think she’s used to walking on a leash and freezes when I try walking her. She does much better when she’s allowed to roam freely. Because of that, a yard would be best for her. I also take her to the park where she enjoys smelling everything. She then plops next to me on the grass or settles on my lap to be petted.
Taffeta is a gem. Not only is she very sweet but she’s also as quiet as a mouse (she never barks) and doesn’t mind being left alone.
I can’t think of a better companion than this little girl.
