Is there anything better than a dog whose name tells you exactly what you’re getting? Sweetheart is a beautiful Beagle/Pit Bull mix who lives up to her name in every possible way. This lovely lady is great with people, friendly with other dogs, and firmly believes treats are one of humanity’s greatest inventions. She’s also a fan of the leisurely lifestyle. Sweetheart enjoys a nice slow walk where there’s plenty of time to sniff the flowers, inspect the neighborhood, and make sure nobody is unnecessarily rushing through life. Why hurry when you look this good? With her pretty face, gentle pace, and easygoing social skills, Sweetheart is the kind of companion who makes everyday activities feel a little nicer. Bring snacks, comfortable shoes, and your heart—Sweetheart will handle the rest.

Sweetheart may be 14, but somebody forgot to tell her that! She’s a funny, social little pocket pittie who loves a good walk, happily tackles stairs, rides well in the car, and has even been known to wrestle with my much younger dog. She gets along beautifully with the other dogs in my home and has been completely unbothered by the cats.
At home, Sweetheart has quickly become a professional snuggler. She loves being near her people, curling up on the couch or in bed, and generally inserting herself into whatever the household is doing. She’s food motivated, opinionated about snacks, and has enough personality to make it very clear when she thinks you should be sharing your dinner.
She recently got the full Muttville makeover — spay, dental, and removal of a very large mammary mass — and is currently recovering in an extensive collection of pajamas. Sweetheart is equal parts sweet, silly, and surprisingly spry, and I think whoever gets to bring this little girl home is going to be very lucky
