Introducing Sue Sue, a dog so nice they named her twice! A chocolate chi with a hint of terrier, her beauty is an artful blend of color and flair that cannot be found on any tutorial. The speckled socks also seem to be out of stock. Readily available is her gentle spirit full of kindness, devoid of drama, and fueled by curiosity. She enjoys the odd jaunt and a sniff fest in the great outdoors, even if taking the stairs is part of the adventure. As stylish companions with tenderness to share go, Sue Sue is top notch. Sue Sue is a super sweet and charming little lady! We have 4 dogs of our own plus a few boarding guests ranging from large pittie to tiny teacup chihuahua and she’s very comfortable and social with everyone, happy to cuddle and very comfortable sharing. She’s a very curious and bold explorer and loves to check everything out, no signs of nervousness with this girl!
While she loves dog company she is clearly very people focused and can be a bit of a Velcro dog. She also can be an escape artist so a secured yard/house is a must! Energy wise, Sue Sue is doing great for being 13! She will easily and happily go for an hour walk, but also will happily cuddle up and snooze next to you.
We think that she may be deaf or at least very hard of hearing, but doesn’t startle or flinch. It’s also possible that she’s just very chill and non responsive to sound! Great eater, easy to handle and easy to medicate.
We’ve been having her sleep in a crate in our bedroom while she’s still relatively new to the house. The first night she vocally protested for 5-7 min then gave up and slept peacefully all night. The next night was a few minutes less of vocalizing, then just a moment, now she goes in quietly and chills with no issue.
Sue Sue is a very happy cuddly girl who is looking forward to finding her new family!
