Subo

Subo

Husky Mix
Male
Large (50-90 lbs)
Status: Available from another shelter

Subo was found wandering near our front door on 01/13, where he laid in our driveway looking exhausted. He allowed us to approach him calmly and eagerly accepted water. He happily followed us on a car ride to the vet, where we learned he was microchipped but unfortunately abandoned by his previous owner.

We contacted the chip company and local shelters, filed a found-dog report, and got him up to date on his vaccinations. Subo is estimated to be 8–9 years old and has a history of COPD. He has a free neutering appointment scheduled for February and has been freshly groomed, where we learned he loves being pampered.

Subo is a true “gentle giant.” He is very affectionate and great with children. He is potty trained, leash trained, and enjoys walks at his own relaxed pace. While we’ve loved fostering him, we don’t have the space he deserves long-term. We hope to find Subo a forever home that can give him the love, care, and security he deserves.

This is a courtesy post. Subo is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Subo and want to learn more about him, please contact: Frank at fcastrojr313@gmail.com.
