Meet the very handsome Stryker! Although he has a very bold and strong sounding name, he is actually just the opposite. Stryker is a quiet and introverted guy who appreciates the small things in life like taking time to smell the flowers. He would love nothing more than to curl up with you while reading a book or watching Jeopardy with you – he’s a smarty pants too! He warms up to people a little slower than some (again, smarty pants) but once he knows your cool – you are the cat’s meow! Stryker is about as sweet as they come and would make a wonderful lifelong BFF!

Stryker is an absolute sweetheart and takes very little time to warm up to new friends, both human and canine. When taking him home for the first time, Stryker immediately cozied up and inched over to sit in my lap on the drive back. Once settled in at home, his favorite spot to be is to be curled up on the couch. Stryker is one of the most calm and mellow dogs I have encountered and loves lounging in his bed or snuggling with a soft blankie on the sofa. He is a very content mutt and will enjoy being your companion while working from home, sitting quietly through zoom calls.
He can be a bit mischievous if left alone with unguarded trash cans however is generally very well-behaved and good-natured. Stryker recognizes and responds to his name however other common commands such as "sit or "stay may be a bit foreign to him. Not to embarrass him but he did have an accident or two when first getting situated. That said, he has become accustomed to his surroundings and has made himself at home.
This furry friend will quickly warm your heart with his gentle demeanor. An easy-to-please guy, Stryker will be quite happy with a brief walk around the neighborhood and a few treats here or there.
