Here’s some notes from her foster:
Strawberry Ducky is a little pom who loves to have her back scratched. She must be approached slow and gently as she is quite timid. She will yelp if you are too fast and hasty. Once she warms up she can be quite excited and zoomy. Her fur is a bit of a mess currently and we are slowly working on it! Strawberry is very food motivated and not picky! I brought her to Mishka right after picking her up and she loved the cakes immediately. Great bowels so far, doesn’t seem to have a sensitive stomach at all. She is partially potty trained.
Strawberry will position herself if she knows you’re going to pick her up. Currently, she likes to sleep in a crate that has a blanket over it. She loves the crate and will go in on her own throughout the day. No signs of separation anxiety. She does well with big dogs but will snap if they are too excited or sniff her for too long. No food or toy aggression. Responds well to other dogs’ signs.
Strawberry does great in the car! No sickness or whining even after an hour of driving. She likes to lay on soft beds and blankets during her trips.
She is good on leash but does get spooked by sudden things or loud noises. I’m sure she will gain more confidence later on!
