Snowy white Strauss is a chubby chihuahua with a laid-back demeanor and a happy attitude. Strauss has two modes – peacefully relaxing in a dog bed or lap (did we mention he puts the potato in couch potato?) or silly and zany as only a tiny chi doing tiny chi things can be. Strauss is an agile little fellow who employs the meerkat begging technique common in smaller dogs – while balancing on his hind legs, he’ll reach a miniscule paw out in supplication if he thinks you have something tasty. A friendly little chap, Strauss can often be found cuddling another doggo, so might do well with a doggy sibling. Of course, if you insist on making him the sole object of your love, he’ll accept that as well.

Strauss is a loving, happy, loyal little pup whose tail has a hard time not wagging! This is especially true when at home with his humans. He has a sweet and silly personality, and is sure to light up a home. He loves backyard time, is quite agile, and Strauss likes to pretend that you (his human) are chasing him! It’s like a game of tag, but with pets once you catch him. So adorable! Strauss also does a good job of settling down and tucking himself into bed — although he also loves when a human tucks him in! He likes to cuddle, make nests, and sometimes burrow under a blankie.
Strauss is currently building his confidence on walks when exposed to loud noises and new things — it’s a big world out there and he’s a small pup! I think he will continue to blossom as his confidence grows. Oh, and did I mentioned he is potty trained! Strauss definitely is a sweetie and I’m sure he will make his future family very happy.
