Steph’s been through a lot of changes lately, but he’s starting to come out of his shell and blossom into a wonderful dog. Steph’s foster has great things to say about him:
Steph thinks everyone is here to be his friend. He will climb into any lap immediately. When we walk he stops to see if every passerby is interested in petting them (he’s gotta make sure everyone gets a chance!). Steph is a busy body & likes to be in the middle of everything. He loves to lie in the piles of laundry & “help” me with my chores. He’s an elderly boy so his energy is on the lower end. He keeps up with us on walks or even today at the beach but we don’t push him too hard. He’s alert & likes to be in the mix. He likes our dogs – not a big player but has spent time with my dog (chi mix) & met a large golden doodle today that he sniffed. I think he was house trained – it is important to take him out first thing or after he eats. Steph likes beds in the sun too! He’s sure of himself: he really will walk up to anyone & sit in any lap. He gave me a single bark when I wouldn’t let him up in my lap while I was working on my laptop. He’s just along for the ride!
