Stanford is a very well behaved and affectionate guy. He will quietly follow me around waiting for me to pick him up or pet him. If I am busy he’ll just lay down near me and take a nap.
He enjoys walking but I try to limit his walking time due to his weak back legs. Sometimes he loses his balance but he will quickly stand up and continue with his walk.
He likes all kinds of dogs, and gets along with my cat! He is happy being next to me whether it’s on the couch or on the bed, and he’s also fine staying in the crate when I have to leave the house.
I think he will enjoy a new home where he can get a decent amount of attention throughout the day. He’s not demanding, he just wants to be near someone and shows his affections. Because of his weak legs he will need to go to a family that doesn’t have any stairs in the house.
Overall, Stanford is the perfect senior chap who is looking for a loving family where he can spend his golden years getting in as much snuggling as possible!
