“Sparky.” He is a 50lb neutered male- he has also been in our care since 5/2023. He doesn’t mind other dogs, but he would prefer to be by himself. He can be shy around new objects but learns to come around to new things. He loves to go shopping, we take him to ACE hardware every chance we get, and he loves walking around and meeting new people. He leads very well, does not appear to be reactive towards other dogs, toys or food. He is just an old man who would love a warm couch to sleep on. He has become one of the shelters favorites and we feel bad that this older dog has to spend his time here at the shelter. Sparky is not the most playful dog; he would much rather lay by your side and follow you around- he is more of a people person. He has come out of shell the more and more we take him to the stores. Is there any way that you can help us get Sparky adopted!
