A real gem, this from his foster mom:
He is the dearest, sweetest old man—he loves to nap on his bed in the sun. I can always find him outside when I get home from work in the afternoons [he has open access from indoors to out while I am gone]. He is slow to get up and sometimes I have to coax him up with a leash when mealtime comes around. But he wags his tail and putters around a bit, he loves being scratched. The most animated and happy I have seen him [other than when we first came home from the shelter and he knew he was safe] was when he met my dogs. His tail was wagging, his eyes were happy…..I sure hope he has some time left to enjoy his life. He is slow but there is definitely life in him.
Solovino is about 13 years old, gentle calm and sweet, good with cats and dogs.
