He is a handsome little chap, weighing in at only five pounds, with a luxurious caramel coat and the most dignified of frosting faces. Solar’s ears are a bit darker than his fur and the only thing longer than his little legs; with ears that big, Solar will hear even your most quiet commands! His name obviously comes from his constantly wagging tail – the back and forth is enough to cause a solar flare! Solar is a gracious gent, meeting the other mutts with aplomb and getting along nicely with both humans and canines. He’s an affectionate little guy who is happy to follow you around looking for some gentle pets. If you are looking for a little sweetheart to brighten up your life, then Solar is the pup for you!

Solar is the sweetest boy! His soft eyes and constantly wagging tail will immediately melt your heart. He eats like a champ and has enjoyed a couple of short, brisk walks. He follows closely behind me as I move around the apartment and gives a quick wag when I tell him he’s a good boy.
He definitely enjoys snuggling in a bed with lots of blankets (he is a Chi after all!) and has been taking short little cat naps all afternoon. He met my nosey cat who was insisting on eye contact and seems unfazed by him so far.
