Hey Slugger!
OK, are you looking for a new best friend!? Well then this handsome guy is the one for you.
Slugger came to us as a stray but was a gentleman from the minute we met him. We quickly realized his hip was dislocated and made a point of getting him into surgery to fix this. His quality of life is so much better after this surgery, he will need a dedicated guardian to help him with his PT exercises so he can get back on his fee. But hey! what else are you doing…just hanging out at home anyways.
We just love Slugger so much and can’t wait for you to meet him.
Here’s what his foster has to say:
Our boy Slugger is a very good boy! He’s very calm and gentle with me and whatever brief contacts he has had with other people and dogs. He also waits, like a gentleman, to do his business on our walks.
He is a mellow guy who enjoys his walks and prefers his food later in the day.
Slugger is still very much getting used to his new surroundings so he’s still a bit reserved but I’m hopeful that once he starts to feel better and settles in, we’ll see his personality fully blossom.
