Cute girl Skylar comes to us all the way from Modesto. Despite being new, she has already shown us her lovable personality. Skylar is not only adorable, but she will also make a grateful and loving companion. She does well with other dogs and is very social. She likes going for walks, being held, and meeting new people. Skylar is laid-back but still has lots of pep in her step. She’d be the perfect outdoor adventure buddy, but is also perfectly happy just hanging out with you at home. What we love about Skylar: She is very charming and puts a smile on our faces. She has a soft and shiny coat. She is always in a good mood!
Skylar is 11 years young and weighs 11 pounds.

Skylar is a very sweet dog! She acclimated herself into our family and her new pack very quickly. She is kinda goofy – she makes funny breathing sounds, she likes to nom on her paws, and she rolls around to ensure her scent is marked everywhere. She’s very gentle & friendly. Despite her age & recent surgery, she bounces around the house with no problem. Skylar enjoys belly rubs, but is not much of a lap dog. Skylar is pretty active for her age and size! She jumps up & down our couch with no issue, and she runs up and down our stairs fine. She really likes going on walks, and does incredibly well on leash. We’ve taken her on quick 5 minute walks, and long 3.5 mile walks, and she seems to do fine with all of it! Skylar has gotten along with our two dogs pretty well! She seems to be mostly house trained. She is good about using the bathroom when she’s in our back patio, or on the pee pads in the house. She’s had a few accidents around the house, but mostly knows the drill. Skylar LOVES food! She loves to curl up in a big, fluffy blanket, or a soft pillow/cushion and sleep the day away, but when it’s time to go for a walk, she’ll be up in a second! She’s the perfect balance of low-energy and low-maintenance. Skylar is such a cutie pie. Her tongue hangs out of her mouth most of the time, giving her the cutest face. She is quiet, calm, keeps to herself, and loves rolling her body all over the place in her own little Doxie world.
