Sir Emmett Brown
Emmett is a male 8.5 year old, grey and white Poodle/Terrier mix, and very healthy. He is approx 24 lbs.
Emmett is a sweet and gentle dog, very happy to be around people and other dogs. He enjoys his daily morning and after dinner walks. He’s friendly with other dogs he meets along the bike path and most folks like to stop and pet him. On the weekends Emmett is out on extended walks and loves going to the beach. He has been a wonderful companion: playful, affectionate, and loyal.
Emmett has to be crated for about 9 hours/day, unfortunately, due to my work schedule. This situation has not been the best for him. He has developed some anxiety due to being crated. We have made the difficult decision at this time to re-home him immediately.
Emmett would be happiest in a home where his owners are home more or crate time is fewer hours than a full time work week. A secure, fenced yard is highly suggested, too, as he has jumped a fence on occasion.
Emmett walks well on a leash, knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, down) especially when accompanied by treats. He likes to snuggle up on the couch when allowed and often seeks out cozy places around the house, like a spot in the sun.
