Silver is really coming out of her shell and here’s what we’ve observed so far: We ignored her the first day or two and let her come to us on her own terms and she seemed to appreciate that. She’s since bonded pretty hard to both of us, and gets very excited when we get home.
She has a lot of energy and would probably be a great hiking buddy. She learned our dog door very fast and will use it reliably to potty if she can access it. She cries when we leave and she goes in the crate, but does settle down. She can jump on furniture easily and likes laying on a blanket on the couch.
She doesn’t seem to enjoy the company of other female dogs and will mark around them, but is totally fine with my boy dogs of all sizes. I think she would love a home that will give her a good amount of exercise, maybe even agility or group training classes where I think she would be a star with how food motivated she is!
