Trim and debonair, with hints of dingo in his distinctive coat, Sid is the most interesting chi in the world. Did he make his way to San Francisco from Bangkok playing poker for high quality treats? Maybe. Is he a published poet? Perhaps. We know for sure he is warm, wise and quick to snuggle. Makes friends everywhere he goes and is so handsome, so chill, he captivates on contact. Meet him now and surrender to his legendary charms.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Sid is the loviest little man! He loves people and is happiest when he is being held, on a lap or under the blankets next to you. He loves to cuddle, and falls asleep on my chest, which is just the best feeling. He’s great with stairs, can jump up on the couch no problem. He had one eye removed, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect on him, and he doesn’t miss a beat!
He gets along great with other dogs, but loves his people most of all. He would be happy in a single parent home for sure, but he doesn’t seem like he’ll be a one-person dog, as he’s equally lovey with me and my partner, and is friendly with anyone who has come over. I also think he’d be totally fine in a home with older children, as he immediately greeted and cuddled with my 6 and 9 year old niece and nephew.
He’s VERY food motivated, and we are working on "sit! He is making great progress in the potty training department. He’s amazing on a leash and would be happy with as much or as little walking as desired. He sleeps through the night next to me in bed or under the covers. I think he’d also be fine sleeping in a pen or a crate with a little training. This little love bug will be a wonderful addition to any home, as the king of the castle or with other pups.
