Sir Shrimpton is a distinguished gentleman who was knighted for his charitable work in lap warming. The Queen wanted go adopt Shrimpton herself but he declined-he’d rather go home with you.
Here’s a note from his foster:
Shrimpton is the cuddle buddy of your dreams! This little guy is a very low key and easy peasy grandpa who loves to be cozy. He’s acclimated very well to our multi-dog household. Since he came from a hoarding situation he is incredibly comfortable with all other animals and has no problems sharing space. He loves affection and is happy to cuddle up for a good nap anytime, anywhere.
Shrimpton is blind, so he needs time to bump around to map the house and yard, but he very quickly figured out how to get in and out of the magnetic screen door. He eats and takes his meds well and was very easy to bathe. He does enjoy a little daily walk, but he is pretty slow moving. He’s very easy to pick up and move but he shouldn’t be in a home with stairs since he would absolutely take a tumble.
Considering his age and visual impairment I wouldn’t put him with young active kids. He likes a calm, quiet vibe with very comfy beds to curl up in. He’d be a perfect pup for a senior, a work from home person who’d love a chill napping old man at their feet, or he’d also make a great shop or office dog! He’s very quiet and isn’t bothered by noise.
Shrimpton is such a sweet easy guy, we can’t wait to meet the lucky person who snags this sweet little gem!
