Don’t we all wish we were a little bit taller? Nope. Not Shorty. He is perfectly happy at the height he is. Low to the ground where he can sniff out any fallen snacks. Tall enough to jump on the bed and take a snooze with you. Some people assume he’s a Dalmatian, but he is all Terrier! He may be a bit shy at first, but give him a day to decompress and you will be showered with love and appreciation. It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas, and what’s Christmas without a place to call home. Give Shorty the holiday of his dreams. Adopt this spectacular boy today!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Shorty has been doing really well. When I was playing with him at Muttville he let me carry him for a while after the event ended. He was such a good boy and created a dog pile with three other residents. They were so cute together.
After he returned when the adoption event ended, he has been great. I have been dog sitting another dog and they have been getting along well and learning each others boundaries. So far it has been great and no issues there.
At night Shorty sleeps next to me. Shorty has also started playing with toys after watching my other house guest and going up and down the stairs in the house with confidence.
This long little short guy is clever and spunky! Shorty seems to be very well house trained. He loves his food and snacks. He is however a little bit timid at times and could use some patient reassurance to his confidence. He likes to keep people in sight, learning what goes on and what might come next. At the end of the day Shorty adores cuddling up close when it’s chilly.
